Frost Music Live launches the season with a vibrant celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, led by the Frost Wind Ensemble in a program that honors the depth, complexity, and enduring spirit of the American sound. From sweeping, cinematic moments to bold and expressive works, this opening concert sets the stage for a season defined by artistry and connection.

Featuring iconic works by Copland (A Licoln Portrait), Schuman (New England Triptych), and Hailstork (American Guernica), the program brings together composers who have shaped the nation’s musical identity, each offering a distinct perspective on what it means to capture the American experience in sound. A highlight of the evening is John Williams’ iconic arrangement of The Star-Spangled Banner, reimagined with the grandeur and emotional resonance that have made his work instantly recognizable around the world.

At once powerful and reflective, this performance invites audiences to experience familiar sounds in new ways in both a celebratory and deeply engaging evening.
